Before I started making puppets, I was doing a lot of Costume Crafts and shoes seemed to fall into that category. Miss Piggy needed some new shoes to match her fabulous new outfits for the movie The Muppets with Jason Segel. I made Miss Piggy’s famous Louboutin shoes which even ended up on late night TV and on display at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. While you don’t get to see puppet feet very often- it’s special when you do! Pix include: Coke Polar Bear feet, Shrek PR shoes, and Scissor Sisters Art Parade Costume feet. Also some Sesame Street stuff: Nucky Duck shoes/feet from Birdwalk Empire, Murray’s ice skates, and some sandals from an international co-production.
My first costume Peenk Space Kitty was created on the Artstar show but I couldn’t stop there! My husband Keith needed his own suit so Killer Space Kitty was born. Next came the blue one Katso and then the red guy Katchoop! We have been around the world in these costumes- bringing joy and love to the people.
